• Taking the mystery out of getting the most efficiency from your tire contact with the pavement
• Making sense of data acquisition “squiggly” lines that are represented by dots of information from sensors
• How to properly transition from a Digital 7 Ignition System, 7AL Ignition System, and 6A Ignition System to the Power Grid System
• Using data recorded on a race car to give you information and applications to improve your knowledge on how to make a race car go fast and quick
• How to properly set engine base timing, retard and advance timing and individual cylinder timing
• How to use MSD software to develop the best tune to maximize vehicle acceleration
• How to retrieve run data from the MSD system
• How to set ignition and RPM curves
• How to plot RPM and timing curves to control drive shaft speed
• Learning to interpret data acquisition graphs
• Understanding data acquisition to maintain the most acceleration to achieve the best ET
• How to manipulate the power of the engine through timing and RPM limits to maximize traction
• A brief tutorial on vehicle weight distribution to maximize traction
• Understanding the natural forces acting on race vehicles and how to apply the torque of the engine to control the vehicle
• Storing and retrieval of data based on different parameters
• How to tune a vehicle and/or driver to gain maximum acceleration without upsetting the tire contact patch
• Using EGTs and air/fuel ratio sensors to guide tuning of the air/fuel ratio
• Using engine and drive shaft sensors to guide tuning of the ignition spark and RPMs
