Comp Eliminator driver Taylor Chomiski aims for an even stronger performance in the 2025 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series after finishing in the top 10 last season with two wins. The second-generation racer will kick off his season at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, La., from March 12-15.

Chomiski’s partnerships have strengthened, with Blind Frog Ranch becoming a primary sponsor on his 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt. CIP1.com will also return for a sixth consecutive season, alongside Scott Seed Company and other supporters.

“What I’m most excited about is being able to come into this new season with the support of such great people and brands,” Chomiski said. He will compete again at the Laris Motorsports Insurance Cajun SPORTSnationals at the same venue from March 14-16.

Chomiski’s last season featured significant achievements, including his second divisional win at Flying H Dragstrip in Odessa, Mo., and a first national victory at the Ford Performance NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas. He noted, “The Las Vegas event was huge for us,” highlighting the team’s success throughout the year, including top rankings in various races.

The accomplishments were shared with his father and crew chief Gary Chomiski, as well as car chief David “Chief” Trujillo. “I’ve had a couple of top 10 finishes in the division, but to finish No. 8 in the national standings is really special,” Chomiski said.

Starting the season in Belle Rose, Chomiski has a total of 14 events planned, each chosen for their potential to maximize points. “We’ve got all of our ducks in a row, and I’m looking forward to getting back out there,” he said.

Chomiski expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating, “We can hit the ground running. We’ve said for months that all we needed was a racetrack – now we have it, and we’re ready to go.”
