SNEAK PEEK PHOTOS: LIZZY MUSI PLANNING RETURN TO PRO NITROUS

Pat Musi has confirmed with CompetitionPlus.com that his daughter Lizzy will return to Pro Nitrous competition at the PDRA American Doorslammer Challenge, May 27 - 29, in Norwalk, Ohio.

Musi confirmed the return is part of a partnership with Pro Mod racer Dan Green, who has a nitrous-injected 1968 Camaro. How many events the team runs will depend on Lizzy's rigorous No Prep Kings schedule.

"We're going to run whenever we can PDRA, schedule permitting," Musi confirmed.

The Pro Nitrous car will be powered by a Musi 959-cubic inch EFI nitrous combination.

Musi confirmed the team, including some members from his Pro Street days, are busy making stuff happen.

"It's about to get real.", Musi added.

One reason for Musi's confidence is Lizzy is now in a car that needs weight to reach the minimum, a first for the team.

"It's going to be a fast car," Musi explained. "The problem we had with the King Kong car, it was overweight, and we couldn't move weight around, and it was always touchy. This car, we got to put ballast in it, for her to be legal. So now we got the option, on track conditions, to move weight front to back."

Norwalk will be a different world for the Musi-Green team.

"We're really excited," Musi explained. "Plus, she's got two brand new engines."

Musi says the Pro Nitrous guys aren't the only ones who should be concerned.

"The two brand new latest, greatest, 959s that Lizzy's got will go right in the No Prep car, to come to Columbus with," Musi advised. "So get ready. Buckle up."
