D H Davies Racing and driver Josh Hart have formalized a partnership ahead of the NHRA Gatornationals. This collaboration will focus on Hart’s entry into the Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown Series under the D H Davies Racing umbrella.
“Josh and I have been talking about building a racing relationship since the end of last season,” said team owner David Davies. “I suggested he give it a go in 2025 with the support of DHDR, and I am excited about that opportunity.”
Hart’s debut in the Burnyzz Speed Shop Dodge Challenger at the Gatornationals was affected by inclement weather, but he now looks forward to a stronger performance at the Charlotte Four-Wide Nationals. “I have been watching the Factory Stock class, and this was just the perfect time to make the move with the help and direction of David,” Hart said.
Hart expects to benefit from the guidance of Davies and the DHDR operation as he gains experience in the Factory Stock category. “We have had several great conversations about a lot of directions we can both grow and build our respective teams.”
D H Davies Racing is also committed to its Driver Development Program, supporting Madi Turley. “With new power last year and some additional enhancements to her car this year, she’ll certainly be a force to be reckoned with,” Davies said.
Additionally, DHDR plans to participate in Bonneville Speed Week from August 2-8, 2025, with Davies driving a car developed over the past two years. “We’re excited to get out on the salt this year to go after a land speed record,” he said, noting the support of several partners.
Hart and Davies will compete together again at the Charlotte Four-Wide Nationals, scheduled for April 25-27, 2025, at zMax Dragway.
