CONCOURS QUALITY CLASSIC CARB RESTORATION BY QUICK FUEL TECHNOLOGY

969 935img1Everyone knows Quick Fuel Technology specializes in manufacturing ready to install “out of the box” street performance and racing carburetors, but their best-kept secret is their CUSTOM carb restorations. Concours quality restorations, like this 1970 muscle car Q-Jet, are done by the craftsmen at the QFT factory. What a way to finish off a restored engine compartment!

Quick Fuel Technology completely disassembles each carb, cleans every individual part, separates the parts for specific plating, and re-colors the main body. All the original external parts that came with the carb are reused, unless they are damaged, and you receive the exact same numbers matching carburetor back, only restored to perfection. All the internal parts, like jets, metering rods, float, etc., are new correct replacements.

SONNY'S 903 FORD EFI ENGINES

sonnys fordSonny's has developed a new Electronic Fuel Injected Pro Mod engine for Ford Applications. This 5.3 bore space  903 cu. in  features Sonny's in house fully CNC'd cylinder heads, billet block,  special 70mm camshaft,  and custom  electronic fuel injection. This is the same combination that  Robert Patrick  won with at the ADRL race in Maple Grove with. (3.81, 197 MPH)

HAMBURGER'S BILLET LS ENGINE VALLEY COVER

With all due respect to The General’s improvements, Hamburger’s Performance Products still found a way to enhance the heralded engine’s performance and appearance with its new Billet LS Engine Valley Cover.

Designed to fit snugly beneath the intake manifold, the high-quality cover fits all Gen III (Non-DoD) engines, and Hamburger’s Billet LS Engine Valley Covers are milled from a solid block of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum to achieve the tight tolerances and strength only attainable through CNC machining.

These popular carburetors have been revamped with an aluminum main body, bowls, throttle body, and metering block. That means a 40% weight savings and a polished finish that stays shiny longer, all with a price tag that fits any budget. These bolt-on-and-go performance carburetors are available with manual or electric choke (0-1850SA and 0-80457SA respectively).  Both feature a single push-on style fuel inlet, multiple vacuum ports for accessories, and Ford A/T kickdown.  700R4 linkage and 4L60/80E TPS kits are available separately.

TREND'S HARD-TIP LUBRICATING PUSHROD

14dTrendToolSteelTipPushrodTrend Performance has introduced what they believe to be the world’s first self-lubricating 5/16in hard-tip competition pushrods.

While their lower ends, those that engage the lifter seats, remain unaltered their upper ends now feature self-lubricating tool steel tips hardened to 60Rc. Both 5/16in diameter ball ends are formed with a 210-degree radius at the end of a 1-5/8in taper to provide proper operating clearance around the rockers as well as the lifters and lifter bores.
