PRECISION TURBO'S NEW ENTRY LEVEL 5831 MFS TURBO

PTE-5831-MFS-Turbo-BackThe newest turbo to be added to our Entry Level line, the 5831 MFS (PN PTB003-5831) is capable of producing up to 585 horsepower and features a Machined From Solid (MFS) compressor wheel for an added boost of performance!

PTE's new 5831 MFS turbocharger The 5831 MFS journal bearing turbo uses a 58mm inducer compressor wheel and is available with our "E" compressor cover (3.0" inlet/2.0" outlet). On the hot side, the 5831 MFS features our T31, 76 trim turbine wheel and comes with a variety of turbine housing options including a Buick .63 A/R housing, a T3 .48 or .63 A/R housing with 4-bolt discharge or a T3 .48 or .63 A/R housing with 5-bolt discharge (with or without wastegate hole).

DEMON CARBURETOR’S 625 STREET DEMON

demon_625The introduction of an all-new carburetor, especially in this millennium, has become increasingly rare. But Demon Carburetion has done just that. Named the 625 Street Demon, it is engineered for hot rods with stock to mildly modified engines.   
 
In appearance, its cast aluminum construction exhibits smooth and flowing contours and in operation it accommodates either square- or spread-bore-pattern intake manifolds without adapters. It’s an easy replacement for any street four-barrel.
   
Developed from clean-sheet beginnings, the Street Demon features two potent 1-3/8in primary throttle bores, which contain triple-stack boost venturii. Two of the boosters are suspended across the bores in the conventional way; the third is neatly integrated into the throttle bore walls. Their purpose is calculated to produce superior fuel emulsification, to present crisp throttle response and drivability, and to provide pleasing fuel economy.

For guideplate-equipped heads, each pushrod is carefully heat treated to reduce wear and increase durability, then black oxide coated for corrosion resistance. Lunati Signature Series Pushrods feature precision swedged ends, which forms additional material in the pushrod’s ends, providing critical strength where it’s needed most. VIDEO: QUICK FUEL'S SLAYER SERIES

The QFT "Slayer" Series has an all-aluminum construction with hand-built quality that is built into all QFT race-winning carburetors.

The Slayer's incredible value (just $299 Racer Net), is made possible by QFT's new CNC machining centers and the unique design that utilizes a secondary metering plate with changeable jets, eliminating the costly secondary metering block unneeded for most street/strip cars. The majority of fine tuning on a street carburetor is done on the primary side, and the Slayer provides all of the popular options: changeable idle air and high-speed air bleeds, 3-stage emulsion circuits, changeable primary idle feed restrictions and power valve restrictions. A real welcomed feature is the QFT QuickSet adjustment on the vacuum secondary diaphram that provides a quick external twist adjustment without changing springs. Secondary metering can be altered with changeable main jets and the secondary float is also notched for jet extensions.

Additional features are a fully adjustable electric choke, and a show winning polished finish that will improve any engine compartment. The Slayer 600cfm (part # SL-600-VS) has a 1 9/16" throttle bore and 1.312" venturi, and the Slayer 750cfm (part # SL-750-VS) features a 1 11/16" throttle bore and a 1.375" venturi.

The SSR-780-M has been approved for “750 carburetor classes” in Competition Eliminator and Modified Super Stock. The SSR-780-M features billet race metering blocks, dual window, dual inlet aluminum QFT™ fuel bowls and an aluminum QFT™ main body with a choke tower and changeable air bleeds.

The primary venture size is NHRA accepted 1.402, the secondary venture is NHRA accepted 1.463, and the throttle bores of the billet throttle body are the mandated 1-11/16”. The SSR-780-M Quick Fuel Carburetor makes all the traditional 750 CFM carburetors obsolete.
