The last time Hector Arana Jr. had a one-race deal, he made the most of the opportunity. Now, on drag racing’s largest stage, the second-generation drag racer hopes lightning can strike in the same place twice.

Arana Racing has signed TCX Global for a one-race partnership at the NHRA U.S. Nationals, Sept. 4-6 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. The deal will mark TCX Global’s first venture into NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle competition.

The U.S. Nationals gives the global time-critical logistics company a direct introduction to a sport where getting equipment where it needs to be, when it needs to be there, is part of the weekly grind.

Race teams spend much of the season moving motorcycles, engines, parts and support equipment from one track to the next. A delay somewhere along the way can become a major problem by the time the trailer doors open.

“Motorsports is an industry where timing matters at every level, and that makes TCX Global a natural fit for our team,” Arana said. “The U.S. Nationals is the biggest stage in our sport, so we’re excited to welcome TCX Global to Arana Racing for this event and introduce their capabilities to the NHRA community. Whether you’re trying to get a motorcycle to the starting line or critical equipment across the world, there is no room for error.”

Arana Racing has decades of experience in professional motorcycle drag racing. The family-operated team knows the work required to get a motorcycle to the starting line goes well beyond what happens once it reaches the pits.

TCX Global works in many of those same high-pressure situations, although not all of them involve a Christmas tree and a quarter-mile.

The company operates in more than 30 countries across six continents and handles time-sensitive transportation for motorsports, live entertainment, broadcasting, fashion and other industries. Its services range from express air freight and air charter to dedicated road transportation, customs work, maritime freight and on-board courier service.

“The U.S. Nationals provides an exciting opportunity for TCX Global to strengthen our presence in American motorsports alongside Arana Racing,” TCX Global Managing Director Enea Lombardi said. “Racing represents exactly the type of environment in which we excel: demanding schedules, complex movements and a need for absolute reliability. We look forward to joining Hector and the Arana Racing team in Indianapolis and building relationships throughout the NHRA community.”
