The only detail Jason Scruggs would prefer to tell about his new Mississipi Missile ’69 Camaro outlaw Pro Modified is that it has doors and four wheels.

But for the sake of being forthcoming to the media, the newest car belonging to Mitchell and Jason Scruggs is about as light as they can get a Pro Extreme machine, thanks to an abundance of titanium.

The classic Chevrolet is powered by a screw-blown Brad Anderson Hemi and coupled with a Ty Drive lock-up converter with a Lenco transmission. The rear end is a JBRC Extreme Duty 11” sheet metal floater with Lamb carbon fiber brakes and PRS/Penske Shocks.

“This is the lightest ‘Outlaw Car’ we have built in recent years – If we could make it of titanium, we did,” Jerry Bickel’s Don Cross said.
