Top Fuel team owner and driver Josh Hart will join the Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown Series in 2025, adding to his racing credentials. He will campaign the Burnyzz Speed Shop Dodge Challenger in all eight Factory Stock races, starting with this weekend’s Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.
Hart, who will race with the David H Davies Racing team, must adapt to the two-step staging procedure and shifting down the quarter-mile track. While confident, he acknowledges the learning curve.
“I will have to get used to trusting the two-step, but I am excited to make some good passes and hopefully win some rounds at the Gatornationals,” Hart said. “I have had this race car for a while, and I love the look of it as the Burnyzz Speed Shop Dodge Challenger.”
Hart built a mobile car detailing business into a multi-million-dollar operation with his wife, Brittanie, starting with just $300. Burnyzz Speed Shop designs and delivers world-class classic cars globally.
In 2024, the Harts formed a venture capital group to grow Burnyzz Speed Shop into a national brand. Competing in the Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown is part of that branding initiative.
“We have big goals for the expansion of Burnyzz Speed Shop,” Hart said. “I think a lot of people don’t know what we do or understand the size of our operation in Ocala.”
