SCAG Power Equipment will return as the title sponsor of the second annual PRO Superstar Shootout, scheduled for February 6-8, 2025, at Bradenton Motorsports Park. The event will feature top professional drag racers competing in Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock.
“We couldn’t ask for a better partner to join us as we host the second PRO Superstar Shootout,” said Alan Johnson, president of the Professional Racers Owners Organization (PRO). “Randy Gloede and the SCAG Power Equipment team have become huge supporters of drag racing over the last couple of years.”
SCAG manufactures a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including zero-turn riding mowers and sprayers. The company has expanded its product line from one model to over 50, with all equipment proudly made in the United States and available through more than 1,500 independent dealers nationwide.
“Metalcraft of Mayville is excited to once again support the SCAG PRO Superstar Shootout,” said Randy Gloede, Metalcraft of Mayville President & CEO, the parent company of SCAG Power Equipment. “This is a powerful platform that is perfect for us to share experiences.”
The invitation-only SCAG Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout will provide teams with four qualifying sessions to secure spots in the Top Fuel and Funny Car eight-car fields and the Pro Stock 16-car field. Random chip draws will determine elimination pairings.
“I am so thankful that SCAG Power Equipment has returned as the primary sponsor of the PRO Superstar Shootout,” said Justin Ashley, driver of the SCAG Top Fuel dragster. “The team at SCAG has invested so much of their time, energy, and effort into bettering the sport of drag racing.”
The SCAG Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout is a collaboration among PRO, Bradenton Motorsports Park, and official livestreaming partner FloRacing. The event will kick off with one qualifying session on Thursday, February 6, followed by three qualifying sessions on Friday, February 7, and eliminations on Saturday, February 8.
