Beech Bend Raceway Park will host Sick On The Green from May 29-31, 2025, expanding on the success of Sick At The Rock at Rockingham Dragway in April. The event will introduce three new classes: Lil Gangstas, Stick Shift, and Street Eliminator 10.10.

The Lil Gangstas class, a street car-based 5.30 index competition, aims to shake things up by turning off the clocks. It features two races: one on Friday with a full entry payout and another on Saturday, where participants can compete for a $10,000 prize.

Tremec Transmissions will sponsor the Stick Shift class, which welcomes H-pattern stick shift vehicles for a quarter-mile race, with a total payout of $4,000. Additionally, the Street Eliminator 10.10 class will provide genuine street cars a chance to win from a $2,500 prize pool.

These new classes will complement existing categories, including Small Tire Pro Stock, Coyote Stock, Street Race 8.60, Nostalgia Super Stock/Muscle Car presented by Driven Racing Oil, and Open Comp.

The event will also feature the Sick Street Car Challenge, a two-day drag-and-drive competition offering over $30,000 in prizes.

Tom Bailey of Sick The Magazine emphasized the commitment to class racers seeking competition. “Sick At The Rock showed we were serious, now it’s time for the racers to join the best class racing party there is,” he said.

Bailey added, “We plan on continuing to invest in this style of event to provide racers a place to use cars they have poured thousands of dollars into. Following Sick At The Rock we had some racers reach out to us and ask if they could get in on the action and we are happy to accommodate them.”
