The 2024 SEMA Show has officially begun, uniting innovators, manufacturers, and influencers in the automotive aftermarket at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The four-day event features groundbreaking technologies, emerging trends, and advancements in vehicle customization that are shaping the future of automotive performance.

With 160,000 attendees expected from 140 countries, the event runs from November 5-8. It highlights the automotive aftermarket’s commitment to transformation and sustainability, providing industry leaders a platform to engage and inspire.

The SEMA Show is at the forefront of industry advancements. Over 2,400 brands, including 580 first-time exhibitors, are featured, with more than 1,400 vehicles displayed across 1.2 million square feet of exhibit space.

“Every year, the SEMA Show illustrates that our members are not just reacting to the future; they are building it together,” said SEMA President and CEO Mike Spagnola. “Every initiative, every innovation, every victory we achieve is fueled by their passion, expertise, and commitment.”

This year’s event includes programs addressing the needs of the automotive aftermarket community. Industry Night @ SEMA, starting tonight, offers live music and networking opportunities.

SEMA Fest on November 8 invites the public to experience motorsports demonstrations and performances from top artists.

For the first time, SEMA will provide a livestream with 31 hours of real-time coverage, allowing global audiences to access news and stories from the show floor.

The SEMA Show underscores the substantial impact of the automotive aftermarket on the U.S. economy. Specialty-equipment retail sales reached $52.35 billion in 2023, up 13% from 2019. With SEMA research showing that 50% of accessorizers are under 40, opportunities for new products abound.

“SEMA Show 2024 is the heartbeat of innovation in the automotive aftermarket,” said Tom Gattuso, SEMA Vice President of Events. “It’s about igniting a movement of creativity and progress that will redefine vehicles and their potential.”

Attendees will experience significant advancements in automotive tools and equipment, such as renewable gasoline blends, cutting-edge EV conversion technology, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The event also celebrates the 11th year of the Battle of the Builders competition, featuring drifting demos, live builds, and outdoor adventures.

This year’s show includes participation from top OEMs, including Kia, Nissan, Toyota, and Ford Performance.

As the 2024 SEMA Show unfolds, attendees can explore a world where innovation meets passion, advancing the automotive aftermarket.
