CP_Hill3The Hitman has a new weapon and he can’t wait to fire it off.

In a brand-new ’69 Camaro he ordered last fall from Precision Chassis in Pottstown, PA, Mike “Hitman” Hill will make his first test passes this coming weekend at Macon (GA) National Dragway.

“It’s always exciting to break out a new car, but I’m extra happy about this one,” Hill said. “Everybody did such a great job on it. If it goes half as good as it looks we’ll be doing good for sure.”

Destined for Automatic Pro Mod action and perhaps a couple of ADRL Pro Nitrous appearances later this year, the car carries a Fulton 833-cid engine boosted by four stages of nitrous and backed up by a Bruno-Lenco transmission.

CP_Hill4Hill picked the car up in Pennsylvania about two weeks ago and headed straight to Tuscaloosa, AL, where Brandon Switzer and the guys at Speedtech whipped together some very trick, very lightweight headers. “You have to see these things to believe them,” Hill said. “They’re that cool.” From there it was on to The Race Factory in Atlanta for a complete wiring job, while J-Dog Kustomz in Monroe, GA, handled the paint and graphics.

Hill said he was blown away by the attention to detail and craftsmanship lavished on his new ride by Doug Kline at Precision Chassis.

“Doug really did an awesome job,” he said. “It’s very detailed and there’s some really nice work on the titanium. I couldn’t be happier with it.”

And as long as it fires straight and true, the Hitman’s victim list is bound to get a little longer.
