The Open House is sure to be a good time. As you stroll through old-town Oneida, you can stop in and have a Coke or Root beer float with RFC President Larry Smiley and wife Linda who will be on hand and sure to be decked in fine 50’s style.

Riley Hospital for Children is located in Indianapolis and is considered among the best children’s hospitals in the nation. Litton has dedicated this racing season to raising awareness for the work of Riley Hospital and for the life of a young patient who lost a battle with cancer earlier this year. Karsyn Bell was a delightful and endearing little girl diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. She fought fearlessly for two years, but on January 23rd of this year she lost her fight with the unrelenting disease. In memory and honor of her life, Litton displays her picture on a decal on his Lucas Oil Top Fuel dragster.

“Karsyn was a very special girl. I want to honor her life,” explains Litton. “Every one of us is connected to a child in some way. These children are our future. That makes a soft spot in anybody’s heart. If you have a child that’s healthy, then you’re blessed. I’d like to see Riley Hospital gain support so that someday when someone does need help it will be there for them with all the modern technology and the best doctors available to take care of these kids. You never know when it may be a child of your own.”

Support Riley Hospital for Children and Racers for Christ, and complete your trip to the U.S. Nationals with a stop by Oneida, Tennessee. You can even bring your poodle skirt or slick your hair back. So join the fun at Litton’s Open House on September 3rd from 4-7 pm. Bruce will be glad you stopped by and so will you.
