The Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge kicks off on March 22 as part of the 40th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals at Firebird Motorsports Park. This unique event features matchups from the previous race and offers a bonus purse along with championship points.

In the opening round, reigning world champion Antron Brown faces racing legend Tony Stewart, while defending Phoenix champion Shawn Langdon meets Jasmine Salinas, who is making her Challenge debut. “I’m so excited to compete in my first Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge,” said Salinas, who looks to build on her semifinal performance in Gainesville.

Across three categories—Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock—12 drivers will compete in the Challenge, enhancing the excitement of this year’s national event. In Funny Car, Chad Green will rematch Matt Hagan, and Ron Capps will go up against Alexis DeJoria, who won the inaugural Challenge in 2023.

Pro Stock will feature a rivalry between defending champion Greg Anderson and Jeg Coughlin Jr., alongside a matchup of teammates Dallas Glenn and Cory Reed. Last year in Pomona, Langdon, Austin Prock, and Anderson earned victories in their respective categories.

The Challenge and the Arizona Nationals will be broadcast on FS1, with eliminations scheduled for March 23 at 6:30 p.m. ET. Fans can also look forward to additional competitive action in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and the Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.
