The Mission Foods #2FAST2TASTY Challenge, the NHRA’s race within a race program during Saturday qualifying at Camping World Drag Racing Series events, will go out with a bang during the completion of the U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.


In a memo issued to the competitors on Wed., August 16, 2023, NHRA confirmed the payouts of this final event would be increased by 50 percent. The 12-race series after the September 2nd Challenge will have paid out more than $470,000.


The Mission Foods #2FAST2TASTY Challenge is a special event staged during Saturday’s at NHRA events pitting the semi-finalists of the previous event against one another in a pair of rematches. The winners of those races then race in a final round. The winners get a cash payout and bonus points.


Those drivers who have benefitted the most from the bonus point include Top Fuel’s Justin Ashley (17), Ron Capps (12), Dallas Glenn (7), and Gaige Herrera (10).
