thunder valleyRace fans know there is no bad seat in the house during the Father’s Day Weekend Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway. Those looking to take in the action from a different angle, however, may want to try one of two hospitality options available for the thrilling, nitro-fueled excitement.

For those die-hard fans who want to feel the rush of standing mere feet away from the earth-shaking machines as they blast off from Bristol Dragway’s starting line, a trip to the Thunder Valley Club is a must. Others may choose to take in the action high above the track in the plush Bruton’s Suite.

Because every ticket is a pit pass, NHRA drivers are some of the most accessible in the world of motorsports. However, only fans with tickets to the Thunder Valley Club are able to find themselves just feet away from the starting line as drivers like John Force, Tony Schumacher and Antron Brown blast through Thunder Valley at speeds in excess of 300 mph.

Thunder Valley Club provides an air-conditioned environment with pit-side seating and a private patio next to the track. Race fans are treated to catered meals, a fan gift pack and preferred parking and shuttle service with the purchase of two tickets. A cash bar and private restrooms are available and TVC also features a kid’s area. Select drivers will participate in autograph and Q&A sessions throughout the weekend in the TVC. Among the drivers currently scheduled are John and Courtney Force, Bob Tasca and Brandon Bernstein.

Bruton’s Suite offers a lavish atmosphere and a commanding view of Thunder Valley and all of the mind-blowing, 300-mph racing action.

Suite seats feature fully enclosed, theatre-style seating, as well as veranda seating, air-conditioning, a buffet with wait staff, closed-circuit television coverage of the races and a souvenir gift. Several NHRA drivers also are scheduled to make appearances in Bruton’s Suite during the weekend. Among the drivers currently scheduled are the Don Schumacher Racing Funny Car drivers, Greg Anderson, Jason Line and Jeg Coughlin.

Entrance into the Thunder Valley Club is $300 for the weekend for adults and $100 for children 12 and under.  Tickets for Bruton’s Suite are $450 per seat for the weekend.

Gates open at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 15 with Pro Qualifying slated for 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 16 with Pro Qualifying set for noon and 2:30 p.m. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 17 and Final Eliminations begin at 12:00 noon.
