Dubbin Motorsports, led by drivers Dean Dubbin and Kirk Wolf, is preparing for a challenging 2025 NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster season after a successful 2024 campaign. The team will compete in nine NHRA Lucas Oil Series National Events and one Lucas Oil Series Regional Event, with the addition of the NHRA Seattle National event to their schedule.
Dean Dubbin, the team owner, emphasizes the importance of adding new tracks each year.
“We make it a point every season to add a new venue to our schedule to keep the season exciting,” Dubbin said, noting that Seattle was chosen for 2025.
Kirk Wolf returns to Dubbin Motorsports, taking on lead driving duties with renewed enthusiasm. The Texas native is looking to secure early race wins, beginning with the NHRA Gator Nationals at Gainesville Raceway from March 6-9.
“I am anxious to get back to work and back to the track,” Wolf said. “If we run like this team is capable of, and knock out some early wins, then we will have options to make a late-season charge.”
Wolf will pilot the Dubbin Motorsports A/Fuel Dragster for all but two events, while Dean Dubbin will compete at his home races at Brainerd International Raceway.
Clay and Chase Copeland will once again oversee tuning, with Trevor Jelinski continuing his role as Car Chief.
“This team has really grown into its own,” Dubbin said, highlighting the versatility within the team.
Wolf added, “This car has no weaknesses. If I do my job in the seat, and get some lucky rounds, there is no reason we can’t win some races.”
