Twenty years ago, they were the talk of the drag racing world, and today, much hasn’t changed.

Sisters Erica and Courtney Enders, the focus of the Disney Channel original movie, have certainly made a name for themselves in the last two decades and are featured in a documentary “Speed Queens: The Enders Sisters Story.

The documentary follows the Enders Sisters and the Elite Motorsports team as Erica pursues her fifth NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series world championship.

“Speed Queens” takes audiences on an immersive journey into the professional drag racing world, as experienced through their eyes.

Erica, a highly accomplished drag racer with five world championships, joins forces with her sister Courtney, a popular on-air personality and influencer. Together, they forge a unique dynamic that fuels their shared passion for drag racing, both on and off the track.

Produced by FloFilms, a division of FloSports, “Speed Queens” showcases their lives from various locations over several months. Having had their childhood story in the Jr. Dragster ranks shared with millions through the Disney movie, the Enders Sisters offer a more in-depth exploration of their adult lives.

“Speed Queens” offers an unfiltered glimpse into the lives of the Enders Sisters as they navigate the delicate balance between their public personas and the realities of making an impact in a largely male-dominated sport. While they strive to be positive role models for future generations, the world of drag racing can also be ruthless, requiring them to develop a thick skin. Both sisters are deeply passionate about their careers in the industry and have had to overcome significant challenges to earn the respect they deserve.

“You’re going to hear some cuss words,” Courtney explained. “You’re going to see the agony of defeat, the thrill of victory, the tight-knit family aspect we’ve always had, and everything in between.”

Erica added, “Viewers will definitely see a side of me that they haven’t seen before. People tend to form opinions based on a twenty-second interview, but that’s just scratching the surface. Throughout the years, drag racing has become more than just a job; it’s my life. I’ve made considerable sacrifices to achieve greatness and compete at this level. Along the way, I’ve had to toughen up and develop a thick skin. I’m not proud of the swear words or the moments when I lose my temper, but sometimes you have to be tougher and more aggressive than you’d like to be taken seriously.”

She continued, “I’m thrilled to show viewers how we make this massive operation work. What we have at Elite Motorsports is not something you can buy or manufacture. That’s what makes it so coveted. Throughout my career, I’ve always dreamed of working with a team like the one I have now. Undoubtedly, our chemistry and sense of family are the reasons behind our success. I’m excited to demonstrate to the world that, with the right group of people, anything is possible.”
