Red Line Oil has announced its return as a premier sponsor for the SCAG Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout, scheduled for February 6-8, 2025. The announcement was made during a media event at the SEMA Show, where Red Line Oil outlined its plans for the upcoming racing season.

“Last year’s Pro Superstar Shootout was unlike any other race I had been to. The energy, the excitement, and the overall vibe was something special,” said Mark Beatty, Brand Director at Red Line Oil. “We are honored to be back for 2025, and there is no doubt they will be talking about this race all year, once again.”

Red Line Oil, a major manufacturer of engine oils and lubricants, participated in last year’s inaugural event and is eager to continue its support. The PRO Superstar Shootout, managed by PRO Promotions, LLC, aims to innovate within the racing community, aligning perfectly with Red Line Oil’s brand ethos.

The event at SEMA featured drivers such as Krista Baldwin, Jasmine Salinas, PRO Board Member Paul Lee, and Shawn Reed, who shared their enthusiasm for the upcoming race. Red Line’s engine oils and lubricants are utilized by numerous teams in the Top Fuel and Funny Car categories.

Reed, backed by Red Line Oil, is set to compete for the first time in the 2025 PRO Superstar Shootout. Reed made a mark in his full-time NHRA debut in 2024 with a No. 2 qualifying position at the Carolina Nationals and a semifinal finish at the Midwest Nationals.

“I can’t wait to get to the PRO Superstar Shootout in February,” Reed said. “I was really excited about everything I saw last year as both a competitor and a fan. This is a unique opportunity to highlight brands like Red Line Oil that have supported me and many other drivers in Top Fuel and Funny Car.”

Further announcements regarding participating drivers, additional sponsors, and the event schedule, including open testing on February 6, will be made soon at www.prosuperstarshootout.com
