Four-time NHRA Top Fuel world champion Antron Brown will step away from the dragstrip this week to encourage the next generation of leaders as a featured guest at the 2026 Scouting America National Jamboree in Glen Jean, W.Va.
Brown, a longtime partner of Scouting America, will spend time with Scouts throughout the event and deliver a keynote address centered on leadership, integrity and perseverance. The event runs through July 31 at the Summit Bechtel Reserve and draws Scouts from across the United States and around the world every four years.
“I’m looking forward to going to the Scouting Jamboree to spend time with the Scouts and help motivate them,” Brown said. “We’ll talk about leadership, integrity and the determination it takes to chase your dreams. I want every Scout to leave knowing that with hard work, the right attitude and a willingness to keep pushing forward, anything is possible.”
Brown plans to draw from a career that includes four NHRA Top Fuel world championships and more than 80 national event victories, using lessons learned in professional drag racing to encourage young people to embrace challenges and pursue their goals.
Scouting America officials said Brown’s message aligns with the organization’s focus on character development and leadership.
“Antron is a great example of the values and qualities that exemplify Scouting,” said Eduardo Casas, Scouting America’s multicultural engagement director. “We are grateful for his commitment to Scouting and taking time during the racing season to attend the 2026 Scouting America Jamboree.”
Scouts also will have the opportunity to see Brown’s 12,000-horsepower Matco Tools Top Fuel dragster up close while learning about the teamwork, engineering and precision required to compete at the highest level of NHRA competition.
The National Jamboree, held every four years, gives Scouts an opportunity to test themselves through outdoor activities, leadership programs and team-based challenges. Brown’s visit adds a motorsports perspective to the event, giving participants a firsthand look at the preparation and teamwork required to compete in NHRA Top Fuel racing.
